Suggested Paper Art Programme: Duncairn
Here are four activities for four sessions of paper art. In 1.5 hrs sessions participants could produce 6-8 Origami pieces in session one, up to 4 One Paper Art works in session two, 4-5 Decorative pieces in session three and one sculpture in session four. Materials would need to be posted out, but a relatively cheap.
Origami - traditional folding paper artform. Example is a hummingbird
One Page art - a combination of cutting and folding. Examples are butterflies and dancers.
Decorative/abstract art - a combination of cutting and folding. Example based on a grid structure
Photo Sculpture - a combination of cutting, folding and glueing. Example from flower photos.
