Coronavirus Precautions
I received funding through ACNI’s Artist’s Emergency Fund carry out some research on returning to schools during the Covid19 Pandemic. Based on teacher’s responses and suggestions I am proposing the following arrangements. Of course, I will adjust my arrangements to suit any individual school’s policies. Thanks to the teacher’s who responded.
Because my print and drawing sessions are designed to utilise specialised tools and equipment that most Art Departments don’t have in stock, online delivery of classes is not possible.
To preclude participants gathering close to one another, I will demonstrate techniques at the front of the class, ensuring that my directions are clear and asking pupils if they have understood.
I will wear a mask at all times in the school unless informed by a teacher that removing it is permissible.
I will wear gloves at all times.
I will provide gloves for students
For intaglio print classes I will provide four printing presses to ensure production of prints is not slowed severly due to social distancing measures.
Wipes will be provided.
All shared equipment is sanitised between workshops
All materials that are posted out are handled with gloves whilst wearing a mask
Participants will be given their own bag of pre-soaked paper for intaglio printmaking
Pricing and Costing
Due to the possibility of smaller classes during the COVID emergency I have changed from charging by head.
I will charge £100.00 for half day or part thereof, £200 for a full day. Participants will be charged an additional £1.00 per head for print materials.
GCSE costs relate to groups of 20 pupils or less. Additional pupils will have to pay £5.00 for half-day sessions and £10.00 for full day sessions.
A/AS costs relate to groups of 10 pupils or less. Additional pupils will have to pay £10.00 for half-day sessions and £20.00 for full day sessions.
And of course if you have particular circumstances in relation to numbers or payments let me know and we can talk through other options
